This 4.5-acre garden features themed educational exhibits for children for creative and imaginative play, such as the Dinosaur Garden, a Giant Picnic Garden, Storybook Gardens, Red Oak Run and Tree House, Cityscapes Garden and more! Enjoy great indoor attractions including the Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House, Plaza de Aibonito, our Puerto Rican tropical greenhouse exhibit, and Benjamin Franklin’s Secret Garden and Workshop. We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 4

2013 FAMILY EVENTS & FESTIVALS - April-November
2nd & 4th Weekend Family Festivals
Held from 1 — 4 pm, Family Festivals are held rain or shine every 2nd and fourth weekend of the month April-November. Festival events include themed educational and craft activities while supplies last. At most Festivals, fresh, locally-grown produce and baked goods are sold. Vendors are welcome — call for pricing/information.

July 6th – Come to the Garden Before Fireworks on the Waterfront!
Join us at the Garden before the show, 6pm-9pm. Admission is $2 per person and free to members. Enjoy the rides for $2 each and have a quiet picnic in the garden then exit to the waterfront to enjoy the show!

GROUND TO GRILL Recipes and Hands-On Activities – DO TRY THIS AT HOME…. CCGC gardeners are experts in growing nutritious food and grilling it all up to feed Camden communities and families! At food events held several times a year, the Camden Children’s Garden welcomes community gardeners / CCGC members to participate in GROUND TO GRILL EVENTS.

Camden Children’s Garden and Camden City Garden Club is all about food! Through our various Food Events, we celebrate our Healthy Harvest through events, like workshops, presentations, cooking demonstrations, Ground to Grill Events, and even host events at the new Passyunk Community Garden by Rachael Ray and Friends. And the CCGC even leads the CAMDEN FOOD SECURITY ADVISORY BOARD.
Every year, in late November, Santa and his elves setup shop at the Camden Children’s Garden. Join us as he arrives in town on November 23rd or for Saturdays Dec 7, 14, 21 when he welcomes families to Brunch with Santa, catered by Tortilla Press!
